Steve Entertains

Steve brought a wealth of cruise ship experience to entertain residents with a concert, sing-along and buffet supper.

Summer Party

Rain didn't stop play as we moved our garden party indoors and had a fabulous time with residents, families and friends packing the house and enjoying a lovely tea and entertainment.

The event raised a total of £210. £30 went to the Axminster Memory Cafe (photo shows residents presenting cheque), £40 to the British Red Cross (photo shows Cyril counting the takings from his stall) and £150 to Chordoma UK.

Old Friends Reunited in Music

Sam 5506We enjoyed an afternoon of beautiful songs with lovely local singer, Jacqui Piper, who was accompanied on piano by our very own Sheila.

Jacqui and Sheila used to perform together so it was very moving to see Sheila stepping up to the piano again.

Chirpy Easter Sunday

An exercise in manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination!

The ladies made fluffy yellow pom-poms which transformed into plump Easter chicks. Chirp, chirp.
